 I purchased this die cut and stamp set in early January in order to make some Chinese New Year cards. .This is the year  of the Fire Horse. As might be expected of the element of fire, this horse represents intense energy, passion and tumultuous change. It starts on February 17 so you still have time to make a card! Even if you miss the date, this set in my opinion, is very versatile. By changing the color of the horse from gold to natural tones of brown, grey or black, I can use him in  the design of another style card using a rustic background setting. He can be done in bright colors such as teal, pink or yellow to create a more artsy version of the horse to use on a card for an all purpose card or a birthday card. The sayings included with the die set lend themselves well to birthday cards. I made this card with a shaker top! I have always been a huge fan of stationary and greeting cards. I well remember the days of anxiously awaiting a reply to a recent letter I had written to a friend or family member, anxious to hear back about the latest news.
